4 is called the numerator and 9 is called denominator in math

Rule 1:
When you read the fraction, the number has to be a cardinal number, like one, two, three….

Rule 2:
When you read the numerator, the number has to a ordinal number, like first, second, third………

Rule3:

When the fraction is larger than one, you need to add “S” to numerator.

 

Therefore the answer for this question is D

 

8/3=>eight-thirds=two and two-thirds

1/10=>one-tenth

3/200=>three-two hundredths

49/1000=>forty nine-one thousandths
